Safer with Google SG Film

The Challenge
Google has successfully trained 50,000 kids and parents in Singapore through year-round programs and events that promote healthy digital habits. At their upcoming Safer with Google SG event, they wanted to renew their commitment to this cause and aim to train 100,000 kids and parents by 2024 – while also reaching out to more key opinion leaders (KOLs) and parents in Singapore to help spread awareness about online safety.

The Idea
Kids are constantly exploring the internet, a vast world with endless possibilities. But this world also has its dangers. With the skills they learn from Google’s Be Internet Awesome platform, kids can turn from explorers into confident superheroes who can protect themselves and others from online threats.

We demonstrated this at our Safer with Google SG event by creating a compelling suite of communications. We kicked off the event with a fun and inspiring film that starred a Singaporean kid who had gone through Google’s BIA program. In the film, the kid used his newfound powers to create and promote an internet that is awesome for everyone.
