Vicks offers a range of products that cured nasal blockages – and with all the products on the same social media page, Vicks VapoDrops needed a way to stand out from the quite literal congestion.

So for the product to be hero – we created a villain. We created Mr. Crooky, the dastardly & mischievous villain behind itchy throats and blocked noses. Based on our ongoing campaign in India, featuring his counterpart Khich Khich (literally meaning ‘irritation’).

These villains were clever and always up to mischief – but their plans were always foiled by Vicks VapoDrops. Our posts took on current topics in pop culture down under and in India, and offered our own funny take on each – receiving a great response and incredible engagement, with thousands of likes and comments from our audience on each of our posts!
